đź“… Event Communications Coordinator

As an Event Communications Coordinator, you’ll…

  • Assist the Educational Outreach Manager to coordinate with guest speakers to confirm event and workshop dates
  • Gather speaker assets like event information, bios, and photos for marketing
  • Send pre-event logistic details to speakers and post-event thank you emails
  • Add upcoming events to the UXHI website
  • Create and send event announcements and reminders on Slack, social media, and email, followed by post-event emails
  • Edit event videos and upload them to YouTube

We’re looking for someone who…

  • Lives in or has Hawaii ties and wants to give back to the local UX community
  • Can volunteer for a 1-year commitment of up to 15 hours per month. Volunteer commitment can be renewed after the first year of service. (We understand life happens, so if you need to cut back on hours or leave during the year, no worries!)
  • Loves to plan events, coordinate projects, and meeting new people

✍️ Content Strategist

As a Content Strategist, you’ll…

  • Develop and maintain UXHI’s brand voice through social media and email marketing
  • Launch and manage the UXHI blog as part of our new community resource library
  • Write one monthly UX-related blog post
  • Curate, proofread and edit member-submitted content

We’re looking for someone who…

  • Lives in or has Hawaii ties and wants to give back to the local UX community
  • Can volunteer for a 1-year commitment of up to 15 hours per month. Volunteer commitment can be renewed after the first year of service. (We understand life happens, so if you need to cut back on hours or leave during the year, no worries!)
  • Loves to write, can stay on brand, and equally enjoys proofreading others’ work
  • Has content strategy, copywriting, or content creation samples
